I didn't close the comments because readers disliked the story and I couldn't take it!
Really!
I revised the main text, and didn't want new readers to be confused by the comments, so I closed the comment section.
New and old readers, including those who read a few chapters before, please start again from Chapter One.
I made a few revisions.
I have a completed story, Brother Lin in the Dream of the Red Chamber Can Fight, So He Settles Things with His Fists. Everyone is welcome to check it out.
Suppose Daiyu gained a younger brother along the way.
Her younger brother is wealthy, talented in both letters and arms, cunning, and sharp-tongued...
Suppose Daiyu knew from the very beginning how wretched and heartless the Rongguo Mansion was.
Then, with only each other to rely on, would they still have to live under someone else's roof, weathering every storm?
Of course not!
1. As before, this is a story about two people who both want a home, saving and helping each other grow. No transmigration, no supernatural powers. It is set in a feudal society, where equality for all is impossible.
2. Compared with the story about her brother, this one has more household and palace intrigue. Please don't get hung up on whether it matches the original or makes sense... After all, Lin Daiyu has a younger brother here. Just treat the whole cast as out of character.
3. As before, the story has a serious tone with a little humor, but nothing absurd.
4. The villains won't be made stupid, and the supporting characters are fully fleshed out. Daiyu won't suffer.
