You gained a father: a health supplement salesman at a company that could talk the dead into buying. You gained a mother: a descendant of a fraudulently practicing exorcist shrine maiden. System notification: Your parents are about to be beaten to death after their scam is exposed. Xing: ... Well, first things first, I’d better save this family of con artists. At the time, the three-year-old swindler was forcing herself to use her skill to exorcise spirits. She had no idea what removing negative emotions meant for the jujutsu world. The tiny shrine maiden’s descendant stood in front of her terrified parents. A light touch was all it took to shatter the special-grade curse about to take form. “She is the Divine Child, she is the savior, she will free this world from every disaster and hardship.” That’s what Mom said. In no time, Xing had become the leader of the Myriad Joys Cult. For ten years, Mom passionately argued with and poached followers from the evil heretical cult known as the Star Religious Group, which dared to use the Divine Child’s name. After half a year of spying on the Star Religious Group every day, Mom finally discovered evidence that they’d hired a killer. She brought the police in to raid their rival’s hideout. Dad resolutely quit the company that could talk the dead into buying, betrayed his old organization, and fled from a transnational group that was hunting him. Fortunately, the Public Security Bureau and the FBI saved his life. Dad brought his cult-leader wife and Divine Child daughter to the police station to deliver a commemorative banner, nearly getting himself arrested in the process. Even as she sat on the cult leader’s throne, looking down at the bowing, worshipful jujutsu higher-ups, Xing was still thinking: Why hadn’t I drawn Reverse Cursed Technique back then? Then I wouldn’t have to panic every time the police came by to deliver a banner. The strongest in the pervert department, too: “I’ll just hold Xing-chan and use Reverse Cursed Technique~” Big-chested characters badly need the cult leader to keep them/Weird bangs don’t kill monkeys/Even stalkers can be true romantics, and so on. Like and dislike as you please. Content warnings: 1. This is an immature work. Read with caution, and thank you for your understanding. 2. Otome story, with canon ships broken up and a pure-love sandwich pairing. 3. The skills and traits are inspired by other works. 4. Japan doesn’t have a tradition of delivering commemorative banners. This is a setting added for the story. Dad works as a top salesman for the Black Organization, bringing in huge amounts of money by selling the organization’s byproducts to powerful officials and wealthy clients. The story will refer to them as seniors and health supplements. 5. Churches are legal in Japan, so the Myriad Joys Cult is completely legal. However, Xing’s parents know little about Japanese law. 6. The police academy group’s timeline is altered, and everyone survives. 7. Open ending. Theme: Love and hope save the world
