The heroine tries to coast through life, but ends up having to fight back. She's a flirt, not perfect. 2. Everyone is interested in her, but it's one-on-one romance. This is an everyone-loves-her story. The male contestants are all a little abnormal, and many male characters appear. 3. Lots of author-created settings. Just have fun with it. 4. A warning: Chapter 16 includes a scene where, because of an intimate task, a male contestant hugs a female supporting character. It's a very light hug, just a brief touch from behind, and he keeps his hands gentlemanly. It's also made clear beforehand that he doesn't like her. In this story's dating-show setting, it's impossible to avoid all physical contact between contestants. Also, the heroine is still a behind-the-scenes tool at this point and doesn't take part in the show, so scenes of male and female contestants interacting are unavoidable when writing the show. I'll try to keep them to a minimum. Even so, some readers with strong purity preferences felt this crossed a line, so I'm warning you in advance. If you can't accept it, please stop reading; it could give you heart palpitations. I understand, since I can be particular about this when I read, too. Also, everyone has different ideas of what's satisfying. My current favorite part is the heroine pulling the strings behind the scenes. She also came up with the intimate tasks, which means that He Chao and Lin Jiao's interactions happen with the heroine's permission, or even encouragement. After all, she doesn't love anyone. He Chao can tell he's being toyed with, which makes him interested in the person behind it all. I think what makes this plot satisfying is whether the heroine is acting on her own initiative or being forced. Since she deliberately lets it happen and the choice is always in her hands, I don't think you need to dwell too much on the intimate tasks. If you're still okay with all that, I promise this will be a satisfying story. The heroine is beautiful and cool, and everyone loves her. I also noted in the author's comments for Chapters 9 and 10 that I'm not writing women competing against women, and I wouldn't know how to. The scheming female supporting character you've seen so far was created mainly to challenge myself to write this kind of villain. I've never written a really scheming, mean female character before. The thought used to terrify me: how could I write a bad girl? So I decided to challenge myself. But I also think this type of scheming female supporting character can be too one-dimensional, and women competing against women isn't great, so I've made some changes. Trust me, she's not that one-dimensional. Then again, I just realized: if you hate the female supporting character, doesn't that mean I've succeeded? I'm suddenly rather touched.
