My Dad Is the Warden of a Holographic Game

[Starting Tuesday, January 10, Chapter 27 will enter the paid finale. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement!]

Blurb:

Yiwan always thought he was just an NPC spawned by a bug in the full-dive game Gate of Eternal Life, a pitiful weakling with no parents.

It wasn't until he resonated with the game's strongest boss in one of the Jinshi instance dungeons that he learned he had been created from a fragment that had fallen off the boss.

Yiwan: The boss became a dad out of nowhere? He doesn't look very happy about it.

My old man is also the warden of the biggest prison in the game. His subordinates are the most fearsome ghosts and monsters in the game.

Yiwan: ?!

The game Gate of Eternal Life is falling apart. Years of players clearing its stages have worn down the dungeons, and the gatekeepers have been sealed away and put into a deep sleep.

Welcome to witness the revival of a game and the birth of a new dungeon gatekeeper.

At the start of a dungeon:

Some players: Don't worry, I'll protect you.

Halfway through a dungeon:

Some players: Ancestor, go trigger a bug first. I'm out of here. (doge)

Please note:

1. The main story begins with the Zhishui dungeon. The earlier chapters explain his background and develop the family relationships.

2. The story's emotional trajectory is a roller coaster: down, down, up, down, down, up, up, down, down, down. HE.

3. Sweet with angst.

Not a traditional group-pampering child-rearing story. No CP.

Theme: Keep striving, but don't forget who you are.
