[Short Tragic Ending + School Life] (Mostly sweet, with some angst)
In the short time she had left, Wen Xian fell in love with someone.
Wen Xian would always remember that evening. In the fading light of dusk, Gu Zhouqing sat by her desk, leaning down slightly to look at her. "Do I look familiar to you?"
When her classmates started gossiping and Wen Xian felt mortified, Gu Zhouqing spoke up for her. "So what if she's sick? Does that mean sick people deserve to be criticized?"
With just that simple sentence, Gu Zhouqing unknowingly found his way into Wen Xian's heart.
Later, Wen Xian couldn't help wrapping her arms around Gu Zhouqing and bursting into tears. "Gu Zhouqing, I'm suddenly afraid to die."
Gu Zhouqing was just as heartbroken. He didn't want Wen Xian to die, either.
That summer, the liveliest one of all, Gu Zhouqing received two university acceptance letters by himself.
One was his. The other... was Wen Xian's.
