Becoming the Richest Man in Teyvat by Making Games

[New Book: [Genshin Impact] My Nemesis Mustn't Become My Lover! is now out] Thanks to the illustrious Lady Dori, Alia, Dori's childhood best friend, had exactly the same dream for her life: Become the richest person in all of Teyvat. But by the time she was eighteen, Dori was already richer than a kingdom and had even begun building the Palace of Alcazarzaray, while Alia still hadn't found her path to fortune. Then one day, a story about a blond-haired person defeating a dragon and saving Mondstadt appeared on the front page of The Steambird. That's when Alia, who was in Sumeru, suddenly remembered: Oh! I'm a transmigrator! I actually transmigrated into Teyvat! Alia, a hardcore gaming addict: Is there any grander (more profitable) ideal (get-rich-quick scheme) than bringing the Ninth Art to all of Teyvat? No, absolutely not. (Know-it-all gesture.jpg) And the Akasha Terminal in Sumeru is the perfect platform for games! Unfortunately, the Akademiya would never allow her to "blaspheme" the Akasha System like that. So Alia resolutely ran away from home and joined the Traveler's party. She brought the "walking problem-solving machine of the Seven Nations" back to Sumeru, overthrew the Akademiya's rule, and, with the help of Lesser Lord Kusanali, transformed the Akasha System into a new-age internet of minds that no longer depended on dreams. Just three months later: The Fatui's Eleventh Harbinger was addicted to a dress-up game. He set the player character as his younger siblings and bought every outfit as soon as it came out, earning a reputation as a whale. Unfortunately, his taste was truly bizarre: pink children's clothes paired with cyberpunk mechanical boots. His level scores hovered around a C, and he was badly stuck. Venti even turned down his busking job at the tavern and played through the rhythm game's levels all night. Now he was designing all kinds of absurdly difficult charts. The rhythm game community forum was full of anguished posts: Could the big shot with the username "Ehe" please stop making charts that break your fingers? Mine are already twisted into Liyue knots! And as for the Geo Archon... Zhongli, what are you doing, Zhongli! Please don't spend all day watching to see whether your "son" the aranara, who's "traveling abroad," has written you a letter, like some lonely old man! Even Genius Invokation TCG, which had taken Teyvat by storm, came knocking after spotting a business opportunity, inviting Alia to become its representative on the Akasha platform. So the next day, both the Great General Mahamatra and the Chief Ranger showed up to work with dark circles under their eyes. Don't ask. They'd spent the whole night playing cards online! Years later, when a reporter asked Alia how she had taken the first step on her journey toward the stars and the sea, she smiled mysteriously. "Maybe it was because I met a remarkable angel investor when I was young." "She saw the world I had built in my mind and laid the groundwork for games to take root." Coming Soon: My Whole Family Transmigrated into a Book Except Me Blurb: One day, Wuqing, a Xianzhou native, had an epiphany. As a member of the Alchemy Commission, she had spent years researching how to suppress mara-struck symptoms. But pain, separation, emptiness... the causes of mara-struck affliction couldn't be cured with medicine. But if medicine couldn't cure it, couldn't games do the job instead?! For short-lived species, getting addicted to games might count as wasting one's life. But for long-lived species, getting hooked on games could soothe the mind and stimulate the emotions! Wuqing: I get it now. Wuqing: Doctors can't cure mara-struck affliction, so I'm quitting medicine! She was going to become a game producer! One month later. A game called Merge the Reignbow Arbiter burst onto the scene and quickly became a sensation throughout the Xianzhou Alliance. Merge two Xianzhou natives to get one Cloud Knight, merge two Cloud Knights to get a captain... merge two generals to get a marshal, and merge two marshals to summon the Reignbow Arbiter and blast the abominations of Abundance to smithereens! A certain Sky-Faring Commission pilot who claimed to have lost her old spark: I admit I stayed up late last night, but who could resist the chance to blast the abominations of Abundance to smithereens! Not long after, the groundbreaking romance game The Idiots We Loved Back Then came out and shot straight to the top three trending searches, where it stayed. Traditional sweet and sugary romance is old news. Here, you can enjoy an alternative thrill of emotional and physical torment, with melodrama and contrived plot twists galore! Romance that defies convention, an incredible degree of freedom, and a huge selection of love interests. What are you waiting for? Xianzhou natives, accustomed to ordinary romance and unmoved by it: Holy crap, this is amazing! Even Miss Bailu, the Vidyadhara High Elder, recommended the game as an excellent way to prevent mara-struck affliction: If the game breaks your heart, have a good cry and let out your pent-up resentment. If it makes you laugh, then mara-struck affliction is even less likely to come knocking! A city-building game made the Divine Foresight General declare, "Farming has always been a Xianzhou tradition." A dress-up game led the Stellaron Hunters to claim, "Ever since we downloaded the game, the Stellaron Hunters have cut back quite a bit on nonessential spending." Soft, squishy little creatures beat the mecha monsters of Aetherium Wars and claimed an unshakable first place in the summoning-game rankings. And all these wildly popular games came from the hands of a single rookie game developer: Wuqing. When asked how she got started on the path to becoming the most popular game developer in the stars, Wuqing scratched her head and answered honestly: "Because I think studying medicine can't save the people of the Xianzhou."
