He Qingying, who has terrible luck, transmigrates into a cannon-fodder character in a body-double novel. But her luck turns around, and she becomes a lucky star.
According to the original story, she challenges the scumbag to avenge the body double, only to have her cultivation crippled in front of everyone. The body double gets revenge for her, but she still leaves in sorrow.
He Qingying looks at the arrogant scumbag across from her and raises a hand, hoping to call a timeout. Before she can, a bolt of heavenly lightning strikes and knocks him out.
The audience: ! What kind of technique is this? She just raised one hand and summoned lightning to defeat her enemy!
He Qingying: ! So this is what it feels like to be lucky?
Later,
He Qingying takes a stroll through the mountains behind her sect and finds a heap of spirit herbs, spirit fruits, and rare ores.
She meditates on a mountaintop, and when she comes back, a whole group of spirit beasts has followed her, insisting she take them in.
She visits a secret realm and not only makes great advances in cultivation, but also wins nine-tenths of its treasures.
Gradually, every time He Qingying goes out, a crowd gathers behind her, claiming they just want to soak up some of her good luck.
