Sugar-Dusted Green Plums

A chaste, flirtatious big bad wolf who works in medical research x a naive, quick-witted college student, a little white rabbit

Su Yi'an's parents were war correspondents, so she grew up in the family compound with her grandparents.

A mixed-race girl with blond hair and blue eyes who looked strikingly different from everyone around her, Su Yi'an never faced any abuse or hardship growing up. After all, Yu Wu, the much older uncle in the family compound, had protected her since she was little.

Yu Wu had put on her shoes, bought her candy, and gone to her parent-teacher meetings.

When she was thirteen, Yu Wu, who had just come of age, even traveled alone to a foreign country, thousands of miles away, and carried her home from the middle of a war zone.

But how could someone who'd cared for her so much change overnight?

He forced her to study, do practice problems, and review. He used to say it was fine if she didn't study, since she'd inherit everything after he died. Had he changed his mind?

At last, Su Yi'an got into Fuguang University, and she thought Yu Wu would go back to normal.

But in reality, Yu Wu confessed to her at the start of her freshman year, and by the end of it, they'd gotten their marriage certificates.

It wasn't until some time later, when Yu Wu was making her take certification exams, that Su Yi'an suddenly realized: “So this is what you meant by saying having a certificate would earn me extra points?”

“Su Yi'an, you should be grateful. Your lack of cleverness earned you two years of freedom.”

When you were eighteen, I waited for you to catch up to me.

When you were nineteen, I waited for you to fall in love with me.

Childhood sweethearts, six-year age gap, no blood relation. Every child in the compound has to call Yu Wu Uncle!

Theme: Being there for someone is the best confession of love.
