He had countless admirers. Lin An was one of them. As Lin An remembered it, he first met Su Jing when he was eight. There was a tattoo beneath Su Jing's left eye, lending him a hint of rakish charm, as though a desireless immortal had been touched by a trace of demonic allure. Lin An had never seen anyone so beautiful. He was stunned. He thought Su Jing was a god. But Lin An was too young to understand. He only knew that this godlike older brother was kind to him, and he liked him very much. At fifteen, Lin An finally became Su Jing's disciple. As they spent more time together, his childhood admiration surged and swelled, eventually becoming an intense love he couldn't confess. Lin An admitted he was a coward. The boldest thing he had ever done was secretly kiss Su Jing's fingertip while he was asleep. Lin An thought this secret might remain buried in his heart forever. Until the day Su Jing's spiritual power gave out and a raging current swept him away. Lin An plunged into the water without hesitation and rushed to his side. They escaped safely, but were both in a sorry state. As Lin An dealt with his wet clothes, he heard Su Jing behind him ask, "Xiao An, do you like me?" Lin An froze like a statue.
