I Pick Up Trash on a Deserted Island

[My other novel, Little Snow Leopard Farms in the Beast World, is complete! A farming and world-building story, ready to binge!] Game streamer Qi You is inexplicably sucked into a post-apocalyptic survival game called Doomsday Island. [An island from the start, with all resources found by scavenging! This is a brand-new version Blue Star players have never tried before. If you're a real bro, join us in conquering the sea!] Qi You: "..." The game's ad is a little tacky, but no big deal. Gather materials, expand the island, upgrade houses, grow crops and raise livestock... Qi You executes each move with effortless skill. It's just a farming game, after all. He knows this genre. So while the vast majority of players are still struggling to get enough to eat, gaming pro Qi You is already stretched out on a soft bed, enjoying the air conditioning while petting a cat. "Knock, knock, knock!" A strange knocking suddenly comes from outside the isolated house. Qi You puts down the little black cat, whose face is full of displeasure. "Coal Ball, time to get to work." Through the dense fog, countless grotesque, indistinct shadows approach the island without end. Behind them, an even greater storm is brewing... The island's nights are never peaceful. While out scavenging for trash, Qi You happens upon a little black cat fighting a wild chicken. Qi You pinches the cat by the scruff and weighs it in his hand, expressionless. "You're too skinny. I'll fatten you up before I eat you." The black cat: "..." Having a cat of his own is Qi You's greatest joy in the game. Even the [Allergy] debuff above his head has become adorable. But can anyone tell him why his cat can turn into a person!? Qi You closes his eyes. "Coal Ball, turn back." A certain "Coal Ball" scoops the young man into his arms and tosses him up. "Not bad, you've put on weight. You're ready to eat." Qi You: "..." Cold-on-the-outside, mischievous bottom × fastidious black-cat top Reader's guide: 1. One-on-one romance, slow-burn farming, wholesome game. The bottom doesn't start out at max level [important]. 2. The bottom is a cat lover. The top isn't human and doesn't want to be one. 3. This is a game world. It doesn't follow physical laws or logic, and the System is just for show. 4. The values of all living and nonliving things in this story do not represent the author's values. 5. This blurb was first posted on 2022.10.17. Theme: Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.
