After the Immortal Venerable Failed to Attain Dao

Switch Couples, Power Couples

Generally, both leads are sexually inexperienced. I'll note it if they aren't. Most are mutually inexperienced, with a few where one lead had past experience and very few where one has experience after they get together. I only read mutually devoted couples, not complicated love polygons.

Finished Stories with Versatile Couples

Switches, completed, and all chapters purchased. Taking my time with these. My tastes are all over the place; I add each book after I finish it. I also include vers.

What I Read in 2026

I read so much in 2025. I wonder if I’ll have that much free time this year.

Personal Log of Original Stories with Under 100,000 Favorites

I read just about anything, mainly danmei and no-CP. Fanfiction has been moved to another list. I periodically maintain this list and remove abandoned or discontinued novels with over 10,000 words.

Selfcest / Two Souls in One Body / Guardian Spirit / Inner Demon

Switch Couples!

These recommendations are entirely based on my personal taste! The star ratings don't reflect how much I like a story. I just handed them out randomly. Slowly updating.

Comfort Reads to Stock Up On

Stories of the times our paths crossed. Hope to meet you again when we stock up on reads this cozy winter.

Some of My Unusual Tastes

Some pseudo-incest, some teacher-and-student relationships, some narcissistic pairings, some Western fantasy, and some other perfectly ordinary but good stories. Most have a bottom protagonist.

No-CP and Switching Roles

Most of these I've read myself, and I recommend them.

Handpicked, Double the Love-Brain Energy (Completed Stories)

Completed stories where both leads are hopeless romantics. I won't be adding any more BL; this list currently has both BL and GL, but no more BL will be added. See the comments for why.

Five Stars

Saved for myself

Mutual Top, Strong Couple Recommendations

I like stories with strong tension, fairly equal relationships, and two equally powerful leads who are well matched in bed. Keeping a record here. I'll mention it when the relationship content is controversial. For some I really don't remember, so check the comments.

Stories I Think Are Good

Just recommending some stories I think are good. Um, there'll be all sorts, and I haven't finished a few of them.

Selfcest

Who could love you more than I do?

Switches

If I can't give it five stars, that's Jinjiang's fault.

Historical BL Archive

Saving these for myself. Everything except the last book gets five stars (JJ won't let me give five stars).
