Loki swore that making a child from his and Thor's genes had been nothing but a prank.
He only wanted to expose Odin's hypocrisy and make the father who always claimed he showed no favoritism admit his prejudice against Loki's bloodline.
But when the child opened eyes as emerald green as his own, he was done for!
The blood bond between them made him realize he would never be alone again. He had someone who belonged to him alone.
Loki abandoned his previous plans and decided to raise the child properly. First, he would conquer Earth and establish a kingdom, making his child a carefree princess.
He never expected that damned Thor would team up with Earth's insects to capture him and steal the child.
Ha!
In that case, he would teach the child to seize the throne. If he couldn't have it, Thor wouldn't get to sit on it either.
The little one he raised with such care was beloved by everyone and became Asgard's little princess, famous throughout the realms. No one could tell that beneath her gentle exterior was a devious streak, exactly like one of her fathers.
The two troublemakers were always putting on pitiful faces to tease Thor, then acting sweet and professing their sincere affection whenever he confronted them.
“Pay attention, kiddo. Tricking Thor is the most fun, and getting him to do what you want is the easiest thing in the world.”
After years of careful plotting, Loki finally put his little one on the throne as King of the Gods. But he never expected hordes of people claiming to be Loki to show up and try to steal the child.
“Damn it! Where did all these lunatics come from? Even a crocodile dares to steal my kid?”
In the chaotic conclusion, looking back at how it all began, it all started on Earth.
Both her parents were dead, and she suffered from a rare stress-induced broken-heart syndrome. But fortunately, the girl received sponsorship from the philanthropist Mr. Stark and was able to live in a well-appointed orphanage, safely reaching the age of seventeen.
“I get to meet Mr. Stark today!” The girl spun around happily. “I'll make him the best cheeseburger ever to thank him for raising me.”
Her anticipation lasted from sunrise to sunset, until she finally heard: “Mr. Stark has canceled today's visit.”
“It's okay. Mr. Stark is a superhero. He must have gone to save the world.”
As she comforted herself, a bold idea came to her: she would go to New York and meet Mr. Stark.
It was the first time in her seventeen years that she had acted on a whim, and the price she paid was a shattered heart.
The person who brought her tragedy and then gave her a new life had a pair of emerald green eyes. He said, “I am your father.”
This story has unforgettable romance, selfless friendship, and family ties tangled in love and hate. (Getting into trouble with Thor alongside Loki counts as family bonding, right? Does it?)
Anyway, the God of Mischief could never raise a naive, innocent child. After evolving into a little sesame ball, the girl would prank Thor and occasionally Loki, too. Loki regretted it bitterly: “It's all Thor's stupid genes influencing my kid.”
Both fathers have plenty to say about raising a child.
Loki complained: “Thor doesn't care about the child at all. Can you imagine him letting his subordinates get the kid drunk? The little one was injured and barely alive, and all he did was act proud. He didn't show the slightest concern!!!”
Thor retorted: “Loki spoils the child too much! The little one has royal Asgardian blood. She'll grow up healthy no matter how we raise her. What's wrong with being barely alive? Wounds are a warrior's badges of honor, and she'll recover eventually.”
“What if something terrible happens?”
“Asgardians never fear death. Entering Valhalla is the highest honor.”
Loki smiled. Just as Thor thought his brother agreed, Loki lunged at him. They grappled on the ground, and Loki tightened his thighs around Thor's neck in a scissor hold. “I'll send you to Valhalla first.”
