*Old-school, edgy gods battling it out. The heroine is the coolest.
In the Battle of Xiantian, the gods suffered devastating losses.
Wen Zheng, the Divine Lord of Xiantian, was charged with ten grave crimes. Her divine status was shackled, her powers sealed, and she was cast into the Hell of No Cause to serve a sentence of thirty thousand years.
But just three hundred years later, the Divine Capital fell into chaos. The lower realms were in upheaval, and the rebels slaughtered the Divine Lords of the Heavens, seeking to claim the heavens, ascend to godhood, and enthrone a new sovereign.
Before the Imperial Palace fell, the Crown Prince was escorted out. Bearing the Emperor's command, he entered hell to find the condemned god Wen Zheng and ask her to save them.
Wen Zheng raised her eyes to look at him. After a moment, she smiled. "Sure. First, bow your head and give me three loud kowtows."
The Crown Prince, who had always held himself above others, had never suffered such an insult. He rebuked her furiously: "You are unworthy of being a god!"
He refused to kneel or beg, and stormed off in a rage.

The heavens changed hands, and the new emperor took control of the Divine Capital. Kind-hearted but weak, he watched the Imperial Palace decline in less than a century. New gods rose up across the heavens, sparking endless feuds and war.
Amid the chaos, the Hell of No Cause burst open, and all manner of evil escaped. Living beings suffered, and the heavens teetered on the brink of collapse.
The new emperor obtained a decree from an ancient god. It read: Whoever can quell the chaos in the heavens shall ascend alone to the God-Sealing Platform.
The officials of the Imperial Palace waited day and night, and at last a solitary figure appeared.
Several old officials of the Divine Capital were aghast. In a panic, they berated her: "The God-Sealing Platform is where the Divine Lords of the Heavens attain sainthood! How dare you, a disgraced god of the past, break out of prison and set foot on this sacred platform!"
"Can't you read?" Wen Zheng, weighed down by layers of shackles, smiled lazily. "A condemned god is still a god."
*The heroine is the coolest. Old-school, edgy gods battling it out.
*Romance genre, boy-girl pairing.
*The blurb may change, but the premise won't.
