Global Sign-In

Also known as: I Build a City Using the Main Characters' Golden Fingers!

Blurb 1: On New Year's Eve, a game interface appears before everyone's eyes. Sign in to earn rewards: with a single tap, fragrant steamed buns, cotton pajamas, and toilet paper rain down from the sky.

The whole world is in an uproar. Humanity is terrified, then amazed, and finally starts claiming the freebies. One sign-in a day, and supplies are yours.

Later research shows that, apart from basic supplies, other sign-in rewards are given according to one's personal traits. For example, teachers are far more likely than others to draw skill books, while no one can match a chef's odds of getting seasonings.

An Ye, an utterly ordinary novelist, draws a ticket to the world of her own story.

And so the whole world becomes gamified. As the supplies people have on hand gradually dissolve into mist, everyone else waits eagerly for the few items they can get from their daily sign-in. An Ye, meanwhile, packs her bags and heads off to another world to claim her share of the freebies.

Blurb 2:

As the protagonist's creator, An Ye is finally getting some payback for all the golden fingers she'd painstakingly arranged for her protagonist. She takes the copy ability from the protagonist of an supernatural-power novel, copies the infrastructure System from the protagonist of a construction novel, then uses the portal belonging to the protagonist of a world-hopping novel to bring in the homeless refugees from a conquest novel.

A few months later, humanity, having lost all its resources and forced to rely on sign-ins, receives a special sign-in task: Go to An Ye City.

Theme: Stand on your own feet and grow stronger.
