She Is Always Favored by the Gods

Synopsis

'You don't need to believe in the gods. You yourself are faith.'

She believed in the gods with all her heart.

She firmly believed that the gods loved all people and would protect every living soul.

But if one day a god fell from grace and no longer treated all people as equals, how could she continue to hold on to her faith with all her heart?

Even if... she herself was the one the god favored.

*

As the holy maiden of the God of Light, she had always followed the doctrine, keeping her heart pure and her desires in check. But she had never imagined... that the lofty God of Light would harbor improper intentions toward her.

She had no choice but to flee from his side.

But...

The God of Darkness, concealed in an endless realm of shadow, whispered softly in her ear.

The Sea God, whom she had once cast aside, traveled a thousand miles to find her and held out his hand.

*

"Since you believe in me so devoutly, why reject my love?"

"The holy maiden of the God of Light? Why not... believe in me instead? I will protect you forever."

"Can I... have your faith again?"
