[Journey to the West] So Earth Is Round After All

Si Chen transmigrated, only to become a big rooster.

To stay alive, he suppressed his instinct to crow and worked hard at cultivation every day.

At last, he took human form and became a beautiful chicken spirit!

To better adapt to the demon world's survival-of-the-fittest rules, Si Chen decided to find a group to join.

The first time, he set his sights on a black bear and landed a job at Black Wind Mountain.

But then a few monks showed up. His boss abandoned everything to secure an official position, leaving Si Chen an unemployed demon.

The second time, he picked out a little calf and successfully became a guard at Fire Cloud Cave.

Then those same monks showed up again, and the same story played out all over again.

The third time, the fourth time...

That was how Si Chen, the wage slave, stayed unemployed forever, stayed young forever, and was forever moved to tears!

In the end, Si Chen, the demon chicken whose bad luck resounded across the Three Realms, accomplished the feat of proving the Earth was round a thousand years before Magellan by "walking in any direction and always running into the four pilgrims on their journey to fetch the scriptures, then sacrificing his boss to them"!
