The higher beings descended on Earth, biochemical viruses erupted, and zombies ran rampant. Just when people thought they had finally adapted and could wipe out the zombies, they discovered this was only the higher beings' opening act.
One day, Zhang Shiyu woke up seven years in the past, two months before the apocalypse. She had survived for seven years in a cruel world, becoming extreme and vicious. Starting out cold and heartless, she gradually began trying to help others. Over time, she discovered that there were many problems with her memories. They weren't just incomplete: it seemed someone had altered them, too. What was she really like? She could only find out by growing stronger again and again.
Theme: An end-of-the-world power-up story. I just think all the apocalypse yuri stories I've read are bad, so I'm writing one for fun.
