I Started the Spiritual Qi Revival

Xu Bai became a big shot in the cultivation world, but when he hit a bottleneck at the final step and couldn't ascend, he did a divination and discovered that he still had unresolved karma.

So he shattered the void and decided to visit his old home on Earth. When he returned, he discovered that Earth was about to be invaded by a higher civilization and faced the threat of annihilation.

Saving the world starts with me. What do we do when our technology can't compete with a higher civilization? Xu Bai waved a hand. Then we'll cultivate! Let's get this spiritual qi revival started!

Then Xu Bai brought out his entire stockpile and set everything in motion: ruins, secret realms, unexpected encounters, and inheritances, all put to use.

Soon, an archaeological team accidentally entered a secret realm in the Kunlun Mountains and obtained a cultivation inheritance. Someone else accidentally ate a spiritual fruit and suddenly began drawing qi into their body...

Spiritual qi erupted, and everyone entered the age of cultivation. When the higher civilization invaded in full force, the whole population beat them back.

Reader's guide:

1. A behind-the-scenes mastermind story with an ensemble cast. Since the protagonist stays hidden and pulls the strings, the supporting characters also get plenty of screen time.

2. The protagonist is cool and aloof. After starting the spiritual qi revival, he mostly watches humanity's growth and conflicts from the sidelines, intervening only when necessary.

3. For certain reasons, the love interest remains unconscious for most of the story and only wakes up later.
