[A short story. Welcome to read!]
The youngest disciple of the Qingyun Sect’s patriarch, Chu Yun, was born unlucky. Whenever he went down the mountain, disaster struck the people below.
Everyone in the sect avoided him. Chu Yun lived a lonely, timid, and cold life.
One day, with the patriarch away, Chu Yun lost control of his cultivation and went into a demonic frenzy.
Now everyone in the sect was even more afraid to go near him. Only Cheng He, the patriarch’s eldest disciple, seemed to care. He acted cold and aloof and sealed Chu Yun inside Bule Hall, but he always came to sit by his window late at night, staying for a long time.
Chu Yun suspected his senior brother had a secret crush on him.
When asked, Cheng He denied it. After Chu Yun went mad, his temperament changed completely, and he tested Cheng He at every turn. He cared for Cheng He’s sacred crane, which he never let anyone else touch, helped him tidy his room, and found all kinds of excuses to stay over at night. None of it stirred his senior brother in the slightest.
But he still came to Chu Yun’s window in the dead of night.
Chu Yun gave up. Maybe his senior brother was just a naturally caring guy.
He shrugged off his burden and ran down the mountain, only to bring disaster upon the locals again when bad luck struck. His tribulation drew demons, and the mountain village was devastated, with no survivors.
Chu Yun fought desperately to drive the demons back, then hid, covered in wounds, in a secret valley.
His tribulation wasn’t over. A bolt of lightning struck Chu Yun and restored his original memories.
Cheng He searched his way into the valley, step by step.
Chu Yun looked at him and softly asked, “Senior Brother, are you happy to see me?”
“...It feels like waking from a dream.”
A steadfast senior brother, a lofty flower on a high ridge x a gentle, lively, unlucky junior brother
So this was your story all along.
There was no place for me in it.
P.S.
1. Short story, written for practice.
2. The ultimate push and pull between the first love and the newcomer.
3. This is the author’s own creation, so read or leave as you please.
Theme: Never forget your original intentions.
That sentence in the copywriting feels so cruel.
I was about to be fooled by a knife. Because it was the protagonist's perspective, I was brought in as the protagonist. I didn't expect that,,, I was really uncomfortable. I collapsed in the middle of the night.
"The good things in this world are not firm, and the colorful clouds are easy to scatter and the glass is brittle."
It's such a real, reasonable and stomach-aching plot that I can't put it down for a long time. The author's writing style is very good. I feel that it will be more popular if it is published in a certain version.
So, madam, does the ending count as be or oe? For the first time, I hope this ending is be.
I swallowed an egg and couldn't get up or down.
It may feel cruel, but the writing style looks really good.
