Note: I've been writing this fanfic for over ten years. The main characters are Shinji Hirako and an original female lead. I drew the cover myself, depicting how I imagine the female lead. The one with a ponytail is her during her time at Shin'ō Academy; the other is her many years later. The drawings are a little rough, so please bear with me.

Just when she thought she was going to die, that man appeared.
He walked past her, illuminating the dark life she'd been living.
So she fought her way from Shin'ō Academy to the Gotei 13, just to be able to touch that man.
I'm not listing content warnings, since this has been going on for over ten years. I reread it myself and cringed so hard my toes curled. The plot is peak chuunibyou, and it's a Mary Sue story. I've made a few edits to some passages. There are heartbreaking moments, but it doesn't have a bad ending.
