The Stars Don't Speak

By chance, Shi Ning and Wen Baisi fell into a casual relationship with "no strings attached." Wen Baisi was handsome, generous, wealthy, and regularly submitted his health checkup reports. Shi Ning was very satisfied with him and took him for granted as her long-term convenience.

Who knew that one day, after they were done, her "long-term convenience" would casually say, "We're free anyway. How about we start dating?"

Shi Ning said tactfully, "Maybe you should think it over. I'm really clingy when I'm in a relationship."

Wen Baisi gave her a cool look. "Let's give it a try first."

To build as healthy a relationship as possible, Shi Ning set herself a "three-no rule": Don't message him unless necessary, don't disturb him while he's working, and don't turn him down when they're in bed.

Then one day, Wen Baisi knocked on the door of her studio, looking grim.

To avoid a scene, Shi Ning hurriedly pulled him into the car to ask what was wrong.

"You lied to me."

Shi Ning: ?

"You're not clingy at all."
