Taming

Gong Nanyu had spent years surrounded by flowers and seen every kind of novelty. All he wanted was a rose to admire.

The moment he saw Li Zhuluo, he thought he was like a rose growing in the snow, so pure that not a speck of dust had touched him.

He thought, plucking this flower from its lofty perch and personally staining it with the ways of the world would be great fun.

He never imagined Li Zhuluo would leave him, but he didn't care. Could a delicate rose, liable to snap in any storm, survive without him?

Later, as he stared at the empty room, Gong Nanyu finally realized the truth: he was the one who couldn't live without Li Zhuluo. Damn it, he'd fallen for him at first sight!

After a great deal of effort, Gong Nanyu finally won back the rose he'd longed for. He laid his heart bare, took out the custom-made ring, and was about to propose when Li Zhuluo abruptly stopped acting like the lovestruck man he used to be.

He toyed with the ring and smiled lazily, his words seductive. "Mr. Gong, why are you taking this game seriously?"

One night, Gong Nanyu's brow remained furrowed in his sleep. His arms tightened uneasily around the person in his embrace. Li Zhuluo slowly opened his eyes, lightly brushed a fingertip over Gong Nanyu's lips, and smiled.

"Yu, at last, you're completely mine."
