Later, Cheng Yu became obsessed with inventing a time machine.
Years later, Cheng Yu announced that he had finally succeeded. His time machine could take someone back to the past.
The news caused a huge stir.
A reporter interviewed him about it.
"Have you ever used the machine to go back?" the reporter asked.
Cheng Yu said, "I have."
The reporter asked curiously, "What did you do when you went back?"
Cheng Yu was silent for a long time before he said, "I saved her."
"Who is she?"
"The person I love."
Cheng Yu kept an experimental journal. On the last page, he wrote:
