The utterly ordinary Shanyu Mu lived an utterly ordinary 19 years, if being rich, clever, and incredibly lucky counts as ordinary.
One day, Shanyu Mu was forcibly bound to a certain Beauty System.
Naturally, it claimed it wasn't a scam System and showed Shanyu Mu its certificate of compliance.
Shanyu Mu agreed that everything seemed legitimate. Since it had already bound itself to her, there wasn't much she could do about it anyway. Still, she was puzzled. She already looked pretty good, like a perfectly normal person. It wasn't as if she looked scary.
The Beauty System told her that the only thing Shanyu Mu lacked to be perfect was beauty, so it had decided to help her.
But everything went differently from what the Beauty System had expected. It discovered that Shanyu Mu was adding all her beauty points to her older and younger schoolmates, and a whole string of other men. She became a famous beauty guru, and countless men wanted to be by her side.
Only then did Shanyu Mu realize that increasing beauty was the most useless thing the System could do. It was clearly so useful in other ways.
