All the Kids Raised by Mori the Boss Ran Away

[The unserious blurb:]

As a mature adult, Mori Ogai fully understands that the fledglings he raises will eventually fly away, but...

At least leave me a few, hey!

Am I really that awful to look at?!

[The serious blurb:]

Mr. Mori, who is plotting to seize power, happens to encounter the down-and-out descendant of the "Thousand-Eyed One"...

Seeing little Ranpo so pitiful, Mr. Mori tests him over and over, finally earning a cat's attention.

But how could one little cat be enough for Mr. Mori? And so...

A little butterfly, a little tiger, a bowl of tofu, and a black beast that goes "arou," along with its little sister, all come running into Mr. Mori's arms. Holding his precious new treasures, Mr. Mori feels as if a weight has been lifted from his shoulders.

But he forgets that fledglings always leave the nest once they grow up.

The Port Mafia's leader weeps and wails. Mr. Mori sighs: who will show some love to this lonely old man?!
