I think finding your other half in high school is really difficult.

I realized why after spending several study periods listening to one boy tell me about his sad love life, another talk about everything from Pushkin to Lu Xun, and a third go on about everything from the beach in his hometown to the old city walls.

I swear, I'd rather talk with a man in his thirties or forties about the current state of international affairs, his career in government, or how to get along with people. Anything would be better than falling in love with these little boys.
