One-line summary: There are countless ways in the world, but I will shatter them all with my sword!
Ye Yingqing was a poor girl who feared no hardship and resolutely chose the most grueling path of sword cultivation. In the end, she finally became the greatest sword cultivator in the world.
Inspired juniors came to ask her for advice:
"Venerable Ye, why did you choose sword cultivation back then? Was it because you loved it?"
Ye Yingqing: "Love it?!"
"No, it was because sword cultivators got free swords. It saved money!"
The juniors: ...
"Then what do you think is the most important factor in becoming the greatest sword cultivator: talent or perseverance?"
"No! Money!"
Ye Yingqing was so bitter she nearly burst into tears.
It was all because she had a money-guzzling sword spirit to support!
To advance, she had to feed it spirit stones!
To fight, she had to feed it spirit stones!
Even practicing swordsmanship in her spare time required spirit stones?!
P.S. This is the story of a girl from the bottom rung who diligently (through scams and cons) saves money to support her sword spirit, and happens to reach the peak of the sword path along the way.
