[That's all for this one for now. See you in the next book!]
Lu Xiaodie is withdrawn and autistic. She was told to be polite, so she obediently kept phrases like "Hello," "I'm sorry," and "Thank you" on the tip of her tongue.
So, after she was pulled into an infinite game...
Facing a female ghost with a terrifying smile, she kindly said, "Hello, your mouth is full of blood. Are your gums bleeding?"
Facing a horrifying, ferocious monster, she asked in confusion, "I'm sorry, but aren't you scared when you look in a mirror?"
When a monster shrieked and cackled in the middle of the night, she said earnestly, "Thank you for waking me up to look for clues. Could you wake me again tomorrow?"
The monsters: ?
This one's pretty bold.
At first, Lu Xiaodie didn't understand why these "people" were getting angry. She kept up her excellent habit of being polite all the same--
For instance, she offered a cup of water to the bleeding ghost lady and reminded her to take good care of her teeth;
She thoughtfully made a flower crown for the swollen water ghost, hoping to make her look prettier;
And she even sewed the corners of the Grinning Woman's mouth together so she could close it.
Gradually, things started to change.
The ghost lady patted her head and said earnestly, "Kiddo, if you can't say anything nice, you don't have to say anything at all, okay?"
The water ghost looked at the flowers on her head. "...D-don't think this means I've forgiven you!"
The Grinning Woman smacked Lu Xiaodie's shoulder with her tongue. "Hey, what time are you getting up tomorrow? Since you helped me find the real killer, I can call you for a few days, I guess."
Somehow, Lu Xiaodie had become the monsters' favorite, and she still had no idea.
Mm. She'd keep being polite from now on, too.
A weirdo had recently joined the infinite game.
Other players either fled in a panic or proceeded with extreme caution. She was the only one who taunted and mocked the monsters, driving them so crazy their heads nearly fell off as they shrieked nonstop.
The players privately bet that, given the way she kept courting death, she'd be wiped out of the game within a month.
But they watched with their own eyes as--
In a gloomy, magnificent castle, a vampire with a mouth full of blood reached out to Lu Xiaodie,
and a female ghost holding a huge blade burst out of the mirror. She hacked at the vampire and shouted, "How dare you bully my kid! You think you can get away with that?"
A water ghost with flowers on her head climbed out of the pool and yanked hard on the vampire's leg. "You're so ugly. Get down here and wash up."
The Grinning Woman stretched out her long tongue and wrapped it around the vampire's waist. "...Mmmph!"
Lu Xiaodie: "Why did everyone come? You don't have to, I can handle this myself!"
The once noble and elegant vampire of the night wept loudly. "Kiddo, I'm your great-great-great-uncle!"
The players: "...#&@$!!"
Turns out, I was the clown all along.

P.S. 1. The female lead isn't normal. She's strange but well-behaved, and has top-tier combat ability.
2. There's a male lead. He's not exactly a good person. Resigned.jpg
[Please add my upcoming found-family novel, My Little One Has Four Proud Phoenix Mothers, to your favorites QAQ!]
Five-year-old Kui Kui doesn't have a mother and has lived alone on a mountain since she was little.
Then one day, a big sister who calls herself the "System" gives her a jade pendant and tells her she actually does have a mother.
The pendant can guide her to find her mother.
After saying that, the System logs off. Determined to find her mother, Kui Kui packs a little bundle and sets off on her journey.
Mommy, here I come!
Guided by the jade pendant, Kui Kui finds her mother very quickly. But something is strange--
Why has the pendant found her four mothers?!
Mother Number One is the dreaded Demon Venerable, moody and said to have killed countless people.
Kui Kui isn't afraid of her. She sings to her in a babyish voice and blows away her ouchies.
Mother Number Two is a detached and indifferent Immortal Venerable who despises romantic love above all else.
Kui Kui gets up especially early every day. Even when she's so sleepy she nods like a pecking chicken, she still follows her and practices her swordsmanship.
Mother Number Three is a tough, iron-handed ruler who has pacified the four seas and hates useless people most of all.
Kui Kui works hard to learn all sorts of things, then stands on a high stool with her hands on her hips to attend court alongside Mommy.
Mother Number Four is an aloof, short-tempered demon king, said to hate all young ones.
Kui Kui... is a little scared. But once she visits, she learns--
The demon king doesn't hate young ones. The Dragon Clan simply hasn't had a baby in a long time, and she's the only one.
Kui Kui, delighted to have four mothers: "I must be the happiest little one in the world. I have four super, super powerful mommies ovo!"
Later, the System returns after an upgrade--
It sees the Demon Venerable and the Immortal Venerable, sworn enemies, styling the little one's hair together while arguing over who gets to put in an extra flower.
The emperor is grading the little one's homework with a serious expression, as if she's working on some major government policy.
The demon king coaxes the little one to study, promising to take her soaring through the sky once she masters magic.
The System is stunned. "Kiddo... am I seeing things?!"
Kui Kui's eyes fill with tears. "Big Sister, they all say a child can only have one mommy, so which one is my real mommy?!"
Faced with four pairs of eyes glaring at it, the System breaks into a cold sweat.
"Kiddo, actually, I gave you the wrong jade pendant before. It can detect anyone who has gathered great fortune."
"Your birth mother is someone else..."
