One day after the final battle, two Travelers from another world paid a small price and left Teyvat with Paimon, heading for another corner of the sea of stars.
The unknown region they reached as a temporary stop was a space ruled by the Lord God, connecting countless parallel worlds.
At some point after they had used their own power to enter completely, streams of data hidden beneath countless holographic images appeared without warning. They surged in from every direction, tracing the path the Travelers had taken and pinpointing a pristine land untouched by outsiders.
Teyvat. Technology in this world was still limited to the surface, but the supernatural could be found everywhere.
The Lord God, intrigued, dropped two invisible pins to capture powerful figures with lots of free time and a decent ability to protect themselves. They would be the launch-day players when the Lord God's realm opened in Teyvat.
At the time, it had no idea what kind of trouble it was about to run into.
