In a distant universe, there is a planet extremely similar to Earth, called Tianqiu. Its environment and climate are much the same as Earth's, and its people look almost identical. The only difference is that Tianqiu's people are somewhat lacking when it comes to emotions (they are mostly expressionless), and Tianqiu's technology is more advanced than Earth's.
Sui Han is an ordinary shut-in from Earth. She likes binge-watching shows and acting, though she is never very good at it. One day, she connects with Tianqiu through her dreams, and her consciousness takes up residence in a humanoid robot built by the people of Tianqiu. She becomes an actor and celebrity on Tianqiu, filming all kinds of different productions in her dreams every day. She also falls in love with Meng Yi, an actor from Tianqiu. Yet the contrast between reality and her dreams makes her miserable. And Tianqiu seems to be hatching an even more terrifying plan...
