Literary Giants' Distillery Simulator

Blurb

[Question: What do you do when you get the wrong literary-giant secret identity in the Detective Conan world?]

[Thanks for asking: I'm in the Detective Conan distillery organization, wearing a literary-giant secret identity. Everyone in the distillery is talented and very arrestable. This place is full of idiots with money, has no future, and is sure to be fun. Come on over!]

*

My best friends and I all died. A book-shaped System picked us up, and we came back to life. The price of resurrection was playing literary giants in the Detective Conan world under secret identities.

And so

Best Friend A wanted to take over the distillery and become its boss every day. Best Friend B took the literary world by storm with an eccentric writing style. Best Friend C was always either on a business trip or on the way to one.

My best friends each had two cards to switch between. I drew three cards in a row, and all three were the same person!

I never expected my secret identity to come with passive abilities, too. I looked at the succession of closed doors and couldn't resist the urge to pick the locks. But the moment I opened one, I froze:

A rich woman wearing a headband, a shinigami elementary schooler in a suit, and a gentle-looking black-haired girl all looked straight at me.

I glanced at my best friend lying dead on the floor.

Me: Sorry, wrong door.

*Reading guide:

1. First person. The protagonist's secret identity is Dazai, and Dazai only.

2. All the secret identities differ somewhat in personality, blending the impersonators' personalities with those of their real-life counterparts. OOC warning.

3. All secret identities are on the black side, but some are here for fun, some are double agents, and some are slackers. (No supernatural abilities, but they do have passive ones.)

4. Includes secret identity card destruction. Enter at your own risk!

5. Don't believe a word Dazai says! The protagonist is a real jerk!
