A Fairy-Tale-Style Introduction
Long ago, there was a little bunny named Akui. She wanted so badly to find her own Alice and take him to play in her secret kingdom.
So she searched and searched, meeting many friends along the way. A big black fox kept her captive, but in the end let her go, telling her he wasn't her Alice and taking her to a big white cat instead.
The big white cat liked Akui very much. He was always teasing her and took her to meet all sorts of friends.
The one she played with best was a quiet little silver dog. He always said things she couldn't understand, but whenever she was sad, he would give Akui her favorite treats to cheer her up.
But Akui still didn't know who her Alice was.
So she had a very, very long dream.
In the dream, the black fox told her again that Akui knew who Alice was.
When Akui woke up, her little face was covered in tears.
The little bunny still missed the black fox so much, but she couldn't play with him anymore.
She didn't know who Alice was, either. What should she do?
Before Lord Geto rescued her, Akui had forgotten what warmth felt like.
Her single mother blamed her for her father's departure and treated her coldly.
Her classmates judged her body and bullied her under the guise of joking around.
Akui could also see things other people couldn't, and for a while she thought she was mentally ill and hallucinating.
Then an accident took her mother away, too.
Lord Geto's hand reached out from the light, led her out of the darkness, and taught her about cursed spirits and the warmth of family.
But now Lord Geto had asked her to leave again and live with someone he'd chosen for her, and Akui didn't know what to do.
She felt like she'd been abandoned again.
But the white-haired teacher took off his sunglasses and studied her carefully with his beautiful blue eyes. Then he exclaimed, "Wow, that guy, Suguru, entrusted you to me?"
"…"
She stared blankly at the man. He walked right up and ruffled Akui's hair, grinning as he said, "Come study at Jujutsu High. You'll have lots of friends."
"Friends…?"
One afternoon, she entered a world and a life she'd never imagined.
