There isn't enough to read, so I'm making my own. I'm a single author and will try to write sweet stories.
I started this story mainly because of the sharpshooter Zhou Zekai. I'll write whatever comes to mind.
Glory belongs to Butterfly Blue; any out-of-character writing is on me.
I'm just writing because there isn't enough to read. If you don't like it, leave. I don't accept criticism. I type in pinyin and don't revise. I'm a lazy perfectionist: I won't change the setting, I'll just start a new story!
Su Mucheng is alive.
I think the name Zhou Zekai is quite nice. I specifically looked through the Book of Changes and the Shuowen Jiezi. Ze means blessings and marshland, and can mean radiance or favor; Kai means upright. The general idea is to wish for a child to be blessed, and for those blessings to be wholesome. So after agonizing over it, I gave the heroine a name that would go well with his, since I'd just finished looking through the Book of Changes. Ming means brightness; Lan means mountain breeze; Yi means nurturing what is right. The idea is to be like sunshine, with clear skies and a fresh breeze.
I once saw a fanfic say that the Ze in Zhou Zekai's name was chosen based on the Five Elements and the trigrams of the Book of Changes. I thought that was pretty interesting, since the Book of Changes really does have a hexagram called Dui over Marsh, which has an association with doubts and disputes of the tongue. (It also seems like a way of teasing our dear Zhou, hehe.)
