Shi Qi is a cat, a very fine cat: a handsome, well-proportioned black-and-white cat. It's just that he's not very bright, and was tricked out of his virginity by a man as soon as he arrived in the city.

The black-and-white cat is naturally optimistic and has a terrible memory. Being deceived hasn't shaken his determination to make it in the big city. He works hard, and thanks to his good looks and silver tongue, lands a job as a secretary at a major company.

Lu Mingzhong had never had much luck with animals. Even the animals at the zoo avoided him, let alone the stray cats on the street.

This was the only little black-and-white cat that ran straight into him.

Lu Mingzhong immediately decided to take the cat home, become a cat owner, and pamper it with the best food and care.

What surprised him even more was that a month later, the cat he'd picked up actually gave birth to a kitten.

Wait, that can't be right. If he wasn't mistaken, this cat was male.

After exactly three seconds of inner debate, Lu Mingzhong decided not to worry about it and raise the kitten first.

But the cat he'd picked up turned out to be utterly irresponsible. It abandoned its kitten and disappeared.
