This novel is also known as "Four Idiots from the Stars Battle a Xianxia Novel," "A Glam-Rock Makeover for a Xianxia Master," and "Interstellar Sect, Cultivating Online"
1
This should have been a reborn xianxia revenge power fantasy about a domineering male protagonist. Unfortunately, it was born in the wrong era.
Because the author left a plot hole and never filled it, the male lead disciple's rebirth plot was dragged all the way into the interstellar age, tens of thousands of years later.
By then, his master, Mu Xiaoran, who should have been "killed by the male lead to prove his Dao," had dyed his long hair in a rainbow of glam-rock colors to keep up with the interstellar trend. He had also taken on three new disciples, each with unusual talents and extraordinary gifts.
The eldest senior brother is a retired imperial marshal, exceptionally capable, though his muscles are a little too exaggerated and look out of place in ancient-style clothes.
The second senior brother is an interstellar top-tier star, talented at both singing and dancing. One day, a crazed sasaeng fan drove him up the mountain to cultivate immortality. Rumor has it he's currently planning to switch careers and become a director.
The junior sister is adorable, clever, and charming, but one or two enormous Cthulhu-style tentacles always seem to peek out from beneath her skirt...
System: Your mission is to cosplay as the male lead's sect from the xianxia era ten thousand years ago and help him return to the peak.
Mu Xiaoran: ...Can I fake my death and escape now?
System: Friendly reminder: your disciple will be reborn in five seconds. Good luck! ^_^

From that day on, three new rules were added to Cuishao Mountain:
1. Do not reveal your true form in front of your junior brother.
2. Do not let your junior brother see any high-tech devices.
3. In front of your junior brother, do not say anything that isn't in the script or do anything that isn't in the script.
The people involved had this to say: We haven't been kidnapped. We're here voluntarily. We really love our junior brother.

In his previous life, Jiang Yu went berserk in front of everyone and became the target of public condemnation. His master, Perfected Lord Qingwei, Mu Xiaoran, personally killed her first disciple, putting righteousness before family.
So after being reborn, Jiang Yu kept reminding himself that Mu Xiaoran had killed him with her own hands in his previous life. Their bond was severed, and when he saw her again, he must show no mercy.
Who knew that one day, to avoid being framed, Jiang Yu would deliberately fall into a freezing pool, only for his master to fall in after him. As the water rippled, the clear pool turned into a pool of black water.
Jiang Yu: ?
He looked at the beauty in the water. His master's black hair was soaked, and somehow it floated out in eighty-one different colors.
Jiang Yu: ??
Seeing her hair change color, his master gave a tragic smile and made up a story on the spot: That's right, I've been poisoned by a nine-colored devouring essence spider. The poison has reached my bones, and no medicine can cure me. When I'm gone, take good care of your senior brothers and sisters...
Jiang Yu: ???
Was there something seriously wrong with his master?
A ridiculous, theatrical glam-rock master x a gloomy, obsessive disciple pretending to be reborn
Airhead x grump
[Reading Guide and Warnings]
This story grew out of ideas and drafts I accumulated throughout middle and high school. I wrote an ending and posted it. It has no logic, no writing skill, and lots of filler. It's awkward, has wild plot twists, is mildly scary, and includes angst. I let myself go, so read with caution.
There are chapters from the female lead's, male lead's, and supporting female character's perspectives, with slightly more from the female lead's.
A short story expected to wrap up in under 100,000 words. I've already drafted 70% of the full story and will do my best to update it all in one go!
My Esports power fantasy next door, "I Won the World Championship Through Marketing [Esports]," is currently ongoing. Please add it to your collection~~
Upcoming story blurb:
Bai Jiu, a rising Esports star, ends up on a terrible team because of gender discrimination. Trapped by a sky-high termination fee, she has no choice but to carry three teammates.
To save enough money to transfer to another guild, she livestreams constantly, crafting and marketing a persona for herself. Her controversial reputation grows, and haters make up half her following.
During a livestream, she chats about her journey:
[Heh, the marketing queen is back at it again.]
During a match, the camera gives her a close-up as she applies hand powder:
[So this is the female Esports star? What a drama queen!]
Even when she posts a fan perk before a match, haters sneak into the comments to insult her:
[What's the point of having so many fans? If she wins the championship, I'll eat my words!]
Who could have guessed that in the autumn finals that very day, Bai Jiu would overpower the formidable teams and win the championship, taking home a gleaming FMVP medal?
Fans and haters: ???!
Bai Jiu: Thanks for asking. Thanks to the netizens for the championship trophy. It's beautiful ^_^
*
From the day Bai Jiu transferred, QWL gained the most controversial player in its history.
She's two-faced, sinister, selfish, and arrogant.
She's decisive, technically brilliant, and unshakable.
She chases fame and fortune, and with her own strength, she makes the entire game a hit and takes it to the world.
Countless people love her and hate her, yet they have to admit: she was born for the arena.
The story of a genius heroine leading her team to lift the trophy.
Theme: Keep going until the clouds part and the moon appears.
So the system? Is it inner demon? The script it gave was wrong. The apprentice wrote various villains in the script, but this was not the case in Master's memory. She always wanted to protect the four of them but couldn't. The manifestation of losing to the inner demon is the current situation of obeying the "system", which is called the "script" in which several apprentices hurt each other. One day, they will completely collapse when they wake up.
Cuiping Mountain, my school is in Cuiping Mountain, it's so exciting hahaha
So is the real Jiang Yu dead long ago? Is this rubbed out? It seems to make sense, but something is wrong. Why did the souls Jiang Yu collected at the beginning suddenly disperse? Why does the body look more like a living person day by day after being scattered? Is it really nice to be resurrected but Jiang Yu didn't have enough clues and got the wrong answer, or is it a preliminary step in the system's plot?
Who is the person Constantine wants to resurrect... What will happen to the heroine and the inner demon... What will be the status of the four apprentices... Will there be a live broadcast in the future of Little Tentacle... Author, you have finished the tonic, I feel like I haven't finished reading yet 😭
After reading this chapter, I felt like I was in a fog.
Wow, it's so rigorous! Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking!
