My Persona Crumbled After Joining a Dating Show

Fu Yunong was tall, long-legged, and strikingly handsome. He unexpectedly shot to fame playing a cool, aloof top student in a low-budget web drama, but rumors that he cheated, dated several people at once, and acted like a diva soon ruined his reputation.

In reality, he was an innocent boy with zero dating experience, a sweet and slightly clueless personality, and just a touch of social anxiety.

His agent had ordered him to cultivate a cool, aloof persona, and he'd overdone it, earning a reputation for being arrogant and looking down on everyone. He ended up following the infamous black-and-red route to fame.

Not long after, his agent booked him on a dating show to try to clean up his image.

Who knew the production team would pull out all the stops and invite superstar and popular top-tier star Zhou Mingyan? Even more unexpectedly, Fu Yunong was paired with him as a couple. That set off a huge uproar, because...

"Love Adventure" was a dating show designed to stir up trouble. In its first season, ten celebrities were invited and paired into couples. Only one pair was an actual couple planning to go public, and the show wouldn't reveal which pair until the end.

When the cast was announced, fans went into an uproar, and the internet filled with abuse. No one believed Fu Yunong and Zhou Mingyan could be a couple, and calls for Fu Yunong to get out of the entertainment industry grew louder by the day.

Then the show aired...

The moment Fu Yunong saw Zhou Mingyan, he couldn't keep his cool facade up for even a second. His pretty eyes sparkled like stars. "Z-Zhou... Zhou..."

Zhou Mingyan smiled gently. "Mm."

The audience: ...

During the song-guessing game, Fu Yunong could instantly name any of Zhou Mingyan's songs, no matter how obscure. Then he'd look at Zhou Mingyan with an expression that begged for praise.

Zhou Mingyan would smile and pat his head.

The audience: ...

After rescuing a child who'd fallen into the water, Fu Yunong climbed ashore completely soaked. When the staff asked if he was all right, he merely replied coldly that he was fine.

But when he met up with Zhou Mingyan, he rolled up his sleeve to reveal his bruised elbow and looked at him pitifully. "It hurts so much."

For the first time on camera, Zhou Mingyan's expression darkened. Without a word, he took Fu Yunong by the hand and led him into a wooden cabin.

The audience: ... Why is this kind of sweet? Could these two actually be together?

The fans: I get to be a mom with no labor pains! Fu Yunong isn't some icy mountain at all. He's the ultimate sweet puppy!
