Hades, King of the Underworld, was struck by an arrow.
Luckily, he covered his eyes in time. Only after making sure there was no one, mortal or divine, around did he lower his hand and slowly open his eyes.
A trembling, snow-white fluffball appeared at the edge of his vision. It clung to a stone by his feet and stared up at him timidly.
He breathed a sigh of relief. It was only a rabbit. Even if it fell in love, it couldn't cause much trouble.
The cold-faced Demon King thought optimistically as he bent down to scoop up the warm little rabbit, affectionately tucked it into his sleeve, and returned to the Underworld.
At the same time, Mount Olympus was in an uproar. Persephone, the beautiful young goddess of spring and daughter of Demeter, goddess of agriculture, had gone missing.
According to her personal maid, the goddess of spring was bored staying in the temple and often took advantage of her mother's absence to turn into a rabbit and sneak out to play...
Curled up in the cold Underworld, Persephone wiped her tears with a little paw, regretting everything.
She never imagined that the handsome man she'd been secretly watching for so long was the lord of the Underworld, and that he would "kidnap" her to his gloomy realm.
Boo-hoo, she wanted so badly to go back to the surface, back to her mother's temple, but she didn't dare turn back into a human. She was afraid Hades would fly into a rage.
But she gradually discovered that every night, the cold-faced workaholic Demon King would tenderly lift her onto his desk, stroke her fur as he reviewed documents, sometimes gently and sometimes roughly.
Purr, purr, that feels so good...
Then, one night, she couldn't help herself and suddenly changed back into her true form.
Hades: ...!!!
Persephone: obedient and frightened.jpg
Furious, Hades felt betrayed and bundled her up that very night, throwing her back onto the surface.
But once he'd returned to the Underworld and his anger had faded, he began to feel a boundless, unprecedented loneliness.
It turned out that he had already fallen hopelessly in love with her.
Not long after, news arrived that she was about to marry Ares, the god of war.
Hades panicked.
What else could he do? He had to hurry and snatch her away.
It's the New Year, so I wanted to write a little rabbit story.
