Nancy called after Harry as he turned to leave:
"Remember to write to me."
Harry nodded.
"Remember to feed my owl breadcrumbs."
Harry nodded again.
"Remember to miss me!"
Harry... nodded once more.
Nancy perked up. "Good night, Harry."
"Good night, Nancy." Harry seemed to smile.
The heavy rain outside the window still hadn't stopped. It beat against the glass, making the room feel all the more silent. As they'd done countless times before going to bed, they said good night to each other. Nancy watched Harry's back as he turned away, until he closed the door.
Goodbye, Harry, Nancy said to herself.
