The Eldritch Idol Doesn't Want to Be Everyone's Favorite

Yin Xi is a meteorite from an unknown star sector. After taking human form, his beauty surpasses human understanding. Without realizing it, people around him watch their sanity plummet, becoming entranced and driven mad.

Specifically:

He wraps himself up from head to toe before going out, yet still draws every passerby's gaze. Anyone who accidentally meets his eyes starts bleeding from all seven orifices.

Ever since he opened the door to accept a delivery, the delivery guy seems to have gotten caught in a ghostly loop, wandering outside Yin Xi's door every day with someone else's packages.

The apartment has poor soundproofing. When Yin Xi sings, his voice carries outside, leaving the residents of several nearby buildings unconscious and causing widespread panic.

To avoid hurting anyone, Yin Xi dons a virtual persona and enters different worlds, playing minor supporting roles and watching the main characters' dramas unfold from the sidelines.

But for some reason, the protagonists keep straying from the original plot and dote on Yin Xi, who was supposed to be a cannon-fodder nobody, until he shines brighter than anyone else.

As Yin Xi becomes a sensation in the virtual worlds, with fans all over the globe, he gradually finds it harder to keep his secret identity under wraps.

With no other choice, Yin Xi turns to a kind stranger for help.

The stranger is tall, long-legged, handsome, and kindhearted. Not only does he lend Yin Xi a villa with excellent soundproofing, he also cooks all kinds of delicious food for him.

Most importantly, this kind stranger isn't affected by him at all and can interact with him normally!

After hearing Yin Xi's troubles, the kind stranger lowers his head and kisses the back of his hand. His voice is gentle, but the tentacles behind him quietly unfurl.
