The Blood Moon comes once every thousand years, and a catastrophic cycle of reincarnation begins. Faced with the unprecedentedly powerful Wuku Alliance, the Rainbow Team, made up of the finest talents from across the Sunny Realm and assembled by its ruler, Palace Master Xunqing, is easily defeated. Shen Yuan, a reincarnated War Immortal who had been prayed for before the Ancestral God statue for forty-nine days, is also tricked into falling to demonic ways.
With a sword that can pierce the apertures about to fall into enemy hands, and the Wuku Alliance's invasion not even halfway complete, she has no trump cards left. In despair, she decides to escort everyone in the realm to safety, staying behind to perish alongside the Wuku Alliance.
"No, there's one more move." Unwilling to accept this, Li Qi, a young member of the Rainbow Team, grits his teeth and steps in front of everyone, saying with determination, "I'm going to find Bai Yuping!"
Well, that's more or less the setup. It's the shared-body storyline of Shen Liaoyuan and Bai Yuping from the neighboring novel Against the Current~ A story about the growth of a boy and even the world, and a (doomed romance) between a cold-faced sword immortal and an idle person of both righteous and wicked ways~~ A spin-off born from slacking off on the daily. Just have fun, that's all, warning
Theme: Seeking immortality is no match for relying on yourself~~
