Lu Shuangshi wasn't always called by her current name. She used to be Qin Huai'an, a name chosen by her beloved grandpa. But she no longer wanted any ties to her past, so she took Lu Jinran's suggestion and changed her name.
Since Jiao Tianyuan passed away, Lu Shuangshi has been through a fight over the inheritance and has been abandoned by everyone. She is no longer as lively as she used to be.
She has become taciturn. She speaks less and less, and has grown thinner by the day. She has lost her ambition, and her grades have plummeted. Once a dazzling prodigy who seemed destined for the heights, she fell from her pedestal overnight.
Everything only began to change when she ran into the lawyer she had once hired at a concert.
But...
If their encounter was calculated from the very beginning, won't it send her plunging once more into the deepest depths of misery?
