As a result, the Ji Yu of the original story grows colder and more heartless, eventually spending his whole life alone.
Later, after learning all this, Jiang Jin looks at the clingy little bundle of Ji Yu stuck to him and falls silent.

Giving up your life for love? Sorry, that's not happening.

1. Although the top was a scientist in his previous life, science plays virtually no role in this story.
2. There is a reason for the top's time obsession, and it will be treated later on.
3. The bottom falls for the top first. He's an adorable little kid when young, and only gradually becomes a cold beauty as he grows up, but he's still the same sweet little clingy boy around the top.
