I always feel that the story of Qiao Chusheng and Lu Yao can't possibly end there. The telegram Lu Yao receives aboard the ship at the end of the TV series proves it.
Lu Yao wouldn't go abroad. If he wanted to, he could simply have agreed to his sister's suggestion. Why go to the trouble of marrying Bai Youning? He married Bai Youning for Qiao Chusheng's sake, so how could he possibly leave Shanghai for good?
Qiao Chusheng was willing to give his life for Lu Yao, and Lu Yao was willing to sacrifice his whole life for Qiao Chusheng. If they were to miss each other here, it would be a regret we'd carry forever.
I want to follow the TV series' logic and characterization, starting from its ending, and give Qiao Chusheng and Lu Yao the happy ending they deserve, making up for the regret we felt over the finale.
Everyone gets a happy ending (including the Bai family and Bai Youning)
P.S.
The author has already finished writing the story, so it won't be abandoned. Read without worry.
The full story is 30,000 words, a short novella. Chapter lengths vary according to the plot.
Theme: Making up for the regret over Qiao and Lu's ending in My Roommate Is a Detective
Eh? What is this? Wen pinch???
The early stages were very consistent with Lu Yao's original character, but the last chapter was a bit delicate.
In the early stage, Lu Yao's character design was very close to the original work, but in the later stage, she turned into a spoiled wife 🤔, very feminine.
The author is great. I personally think that Lu Yao doesn't hate the Lu family, but may be more disappointed. I personally feel that if what I said is wrong, I hope you can forgive me.
So sweet ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
The writing is good and the emotional and career lines are just right. I like it very much.
