Becoming an Empress in a World of Love-Struck Fools

A lighthearted, comedic-style light novel set in an alternate history! Announcement: Joining the paid chapters on January 27, 2023. After that, I'll be posting ten thousand words a day! Please show your support~ The blurb begins below! After transmigrating into a princess adored by the emperor in a prosperous dynasty, Shen Y Yao initially thinks she's landed a story where she can coast to victory. Then she discovers she's surrounded by a bunch of hopeless romantics. Her mother, the Noble Consort, keeps an eye on the emperor's concubines and engages in palace intrigue to win his favor. Her elder brother, the Crown Prince, defies their father and sneaks out of the palace for a palace maid. Her third brother is acting out a tragic romance with the daughter of a low-ranking official, refusing to eat or drink. Even the original owner of the body Shen Yu Yao transmigrated into had her eye on a married man and wanted to force him to divorce his wife! The trope of giving up the realm to make a beauty smile is fine in a novel, but there is no way she can let hopeless romantics rule the world! Since none of her brothers seem to have any potential, why not take the throne herself? As the saying goes, great strength works miracles, and reform brings peace. The worst that can happen is a bit of criticism from those great aristocratic families: Tyrant? Shen Y Yao looks at the state taxes that have tripled in two years, the steadily rising grain yields, and the newborn population doubling year after year, then signs her name with a flourish. Confiscate the estates of some, demote others. Those with faulty eyes and brains should make way for capable ministers while there's still time. Even more people call her a tyrant. But there are also more and more people praising her as a wise ruler. P.S. Many thanks to my friend for providing this concise blurb~ The character design on the cover is non-exclusive. A recommendation for my friend's novel: You Call This a Strategist? [Three Kingdoms] by Qianli Jiangfeng, a Three Kingdoms female emperor story! Highly recommended! The female lead is a master of witty retorts, a super-strong girl, and a chronic complainer. In the early chapters, the female lead is a chaotic fun-seeker. Later, she transforms into a domineering empress. Theme: A woman must stand strong.
