Everyone knows that the cold-faced demon-slayer Chu Lichou despises the Demonic Cult and has sworn to kill every one of its members.
Everyone also says that the smiling, ghostly killer is ruthless and never hesitates to kill, leaving corpses everywhere in her wake.
What? You want to know what would happen if the two of them crossed paths? It would surely be a clash of blades, a fight to the death...
Wait! Stop right there! You're overthinking it. You've really got it all wrong.
What cold-faced demon-slayer? You mean that serious-minded Daoist who blushes whenever she's teased?
What smiling, ghostly killer? You mean the cold-faced demon-slayer's sidekick, who loves to tease and rile her up?
Su Zijing, delicate and frail, easy to push over: "Daoist, he's so scary. I'm afraid~"
Chu Lichou, menacing and cold: "Don't be afraid. I'm here. Tell him to get lost."
Everyone: Wait, why are the two of you like this together?
As it happens, even Su Zijing didn't expect things to turn out this way...
If she'd known what would happen after provoking Chu Lichou, Su Zijing...
would have provoked her ages ago!
Su Zijing:
Come here, Daoist, cuddle me~
A Chu, I'm sleepy~ Hold me~
Chu Lichou! I've come to kill you!
Chu Lichou:
Oh, so you're the legendary Holy Maiden of the Demonic Cult. Got it! Super fierce (cute), that kind.
Everyone: Our Daoist Chu has always been gentle and kind, with the world at heart. She's perfect, except for being a little cold! This is just a ploy! A ploy!
Until the Demonic Cult's purge...
Chu Lichou's eyes were bloodshot, her white robes stained red. With her Huayu Sword in hand, she slaughtered most of the Demonic Cult, leaving its hideouts awash in blood.
She casually wiped the grime from her face and, her voice hoarse, searched everywhere like a madwoman:
"Su Zijing, come home with me."
Demonic Cult: Hey, who exactly is the demon here?
Everyone: Heh. Rumors. They're all just rumors.
A clingy, affectionate Holy Maiden of the Demonic Cult x a cold-faced Daoist, aloof on the outside but warm within, who's a tyrant at heart
1v1, happy ending, sweet romance
Love at first sight, mutual redemption
Premise: The martial world is full of turmoil
It's great, can't wait for the next chapter!
