Lately, all kinds of geniuses have appeared. Each one is powerful and talented, and loves meddling in other people's business and turning every place they visit upside down.
Around the same time, a strange reclusive sect appeared. It loves tossing its geniuses out into the world to stir up trouble, and never bothers to bring them back.
Here are some of the people we interviewed:
A certain city lord: "I'm offering a huge reward for information about the Wuwei Sect. An address would earn you an even bigger prize."
Interviewer: "Why are you offering a reward for information about the Wuwei Sect? Did they do something you can't tolerate?"
The city lord glared furiously ahead. "They deliberately threw people out, seriously damaging the income of the territory I govern." Would he tell you that if he doesn't find the sect and pass his graduation assessment, he'll be humiliated in front of his fellow disciples?
Interviewer: "All right, let's hear from our next guest."
A certain demoness: "Sigh, I've been spending too much lately. I want to go to the Wuwei Sect and grab a little cash." Damn it, I'd just come down the mountain and hooked up with a handsome guy when they notified me about the graduation assessment. If I fail, I'll end up on the Wall of Shame. I planned to go back to the sect, but guess what? The sect's gone! Are they trying to get me on that Wall of Shame or what? (The sect master rubbed his forehead. Hadn't he told her what the assessment involved? Surely he had. He lowered his head in thought. Maybe he really hadn't. But wasn't she already stumbling her way through the graduation assessment?)
The interviewer wiped away sweat. "What a spirited young lady. Let's welcome our final interviewee."
A certain god of slaughter: "Huh? You mean the Wuwei Sect? Oh, that's where I'm headed to kill someone. I just haven't found it yet. Otherwise, I'd have given it a complete makeover. Anything else?"
The interviewer wiped away cold sweat. "No, no, that's all." And off they went.
These are some parody snippets that inspired me. Even the author doesn't know what they'll turn into.
Theme: The story of a salted-fish sect master who treats his sect like a mobile home and takes in disciples across countless worlds, and of a group of disciples who've had the worst luck imaginable as they try to find their sect again.
