I just started this list for fun... I haven't actually read most of these, so I didn't feel comfortable adding tags.
Before you read:
The aim of this list is to catalog everything, not recommend good books. There are bound to be books with poor writing, confusing logic, out-of-character portrayals, and other flaws. Feel free to point them out in the comments. I generally won't edit or remove anything unless it involves a major issue.
This list does not include:
1. Short stories under 100,000 characters
2. Open endings, where you can ship anyone with anyone
3. Multiple endings, since I personally don't like them
4. Anthologies, such as one story pairing Dazai with one character and another story pairing him with someone else
5. Books tagged as romance that don't actually feature a romantic pairing, such as mother and son or siblings
[Please note] This is not a recommendation list! It's just a slapdash catalog I put together for fun!
Please be sure to read the notes above before starting!!! (bows to the ground.jpg)
Also:
I update this list whenever I come across a newly completed romance novel. I go by the completed status label.
I tried my best to find every book that was recommended before, but there are definitely omissions. Feel free to add any I missed.
Lastly, I'm sorry, but I've decided not to include any more gender-swap stories involving characters from Bungo Stray Dogs.
Premise: Wishing everyone happiness every day.
This book is really strange... The heroine traveled to the world of Wenye while playing the game but didn't realize it the whole time. She always had a fun mentality in the mafia, until the point where Zai defected later (it was a bit too long to watch). When the heroine went to the clock tower to do a task, she also defected inexplicably. Escaped, and then was forced by a clock tower researcher to learn skills such as sewing, cooking, and common sense... I don't have any objections to the author, but this part is really written like a girl with a very free personality in a feudal society who was forced to learn female virtues, and the dialogue design also has a PUA flavor. And it is not clear whether the heroine realizes that she is not in the game but has traveled through time (maybe I missed it?). At the end, the heroine returned to Tokyo to open a cake shop, and the game system was used for purchasing and management. However, due to the reasons mentioned above, in the end, the heroine felt to me like a mental patient who was forced to be cured in the eyes of the world. However, both the reader and herself knew that this was not a mental illness, and the heroine was forced to become normal because of some kind of education, although her behavior still maintained that abnormality.
A very short, but very cute article, with an amazing portrayal of the heroine, and the description and interpretation of Jae that I like very much.
Just finished reading this! It's really amazing! The top three Zai romances, from the protagonist to the group portraits to the writing style and the emotional lines, almost everything is better than I expected. The analysis of the leader Zai, as well as the descriptions by Oda Sakuchuya Akutagawa Kogan and others, are really very delicate. It is the first time I see an author in Jinjiang who actively explores the characters. What a surprise! The reason it didn't become top 1 is just that I love Butei Zai more:-D
I can't even stomach this author's writing... I can accept the original heroine, but I can't accept the gender change. In my mind, this is no different from Danmei, and I still want to spoil him.
Jae Moon's wife who organizes everything is a god! I read both romance and beauty, but I finally decided that romance is more to my liking. Our original heroine is really doting on her! Danmei's original characters, whether offensive or offensive, portray Su Dian too hard and ignore Zai's description... Above, next I will select the articles I have read to comment, thank you again, madam!
I finished reading it in one night... It doesn't count as a minefield (it doesn't count as a minefield for me), but I feel that it may not be suitable for readers who only want to watch Zai Xiang or those who want to see Zai taking the initiative to worry and sweet couple scenes. The first person I dated was Kuro Toki-jae, and the second person I had a close relationship with was Jung. Because of his ability and personal charm, there were many single arrow characters throughout the process. The heroine has always been the emotionally dominant party. The countdown to the ending begins and the male protagonists are eliminated one after another. By the fourth to last chapter, only Zai is left, and the last chapter confirms the identity. The story itself is okay.
The book "The Leader" was so painful for me to read. I felt something was wrong when I was halfway through reading it. However, I didn't really like to read the comment section before reading the book, so I ordered it all at once. . . It was so painful for me to watch the end. I am a complete fan of Zai Chu. It was so painful. After reading this book, I read the book reviews first no matter what I read. . .
Nice! This is the first time I've seen someone write an open ending (should it?) So well! And it's free to generate electricity for love! The description of Dazai Kuroni in the article is also very good!
This article really made me very sad... The first part was well written, but the second part collapsed. The heroine almost became a god, which made her feelings towards Zai almost indifferent to compassion. In the end, the author hardened into a he, which made me feel like I had a lump in my throat.
Original author heroines often make me feel a little embarrassed... The author tries to underline their strong character, but the writing style and characterization are not convincing enough, which will inevitably lead to the other characters of Wenye including Zai becoming dim...
