Flirtatious Princess vs. Sickly Prince Hostage
Note from 2025.09.24
Warning: This book's later chapters may end badly. I originally wanted to lock it, but after thinking it over, I decided to leave it up as a reminder to do better. (If I have time, I'll try to write more, but it depends on when I can.)
My new novel, Snatching the Moon, is out. If you're interested, please check it out.

A note:
I've had a lot going on in real life lately, so I can't guarantee regular updates. I'm sorry, everyone.
I can only promise that this book will be finished.
I'll write at my own pace; feel free to read whenever.
There are other female-dominant romance novels in my collection. If this one isn't updating, you can check those out.
My completed novel: The Proud Imperial Consort.
Blurb
Lin Ge woke up one morning to find she had acquired a delicate husband. What should she do?
Her legal husband looked at her with icy eyes. He obviously didn't like her.
But as a hostage prince whose chastity she'd taken, he had no choice but to keep quiet, whether he liked her or not.
Lin Ge tried everything she could to persuade him not to put an entire snake in the bed when he went to sleep.
"Die of a shield."
To clear herself of suspicion, Lin Ge tried to talk her husband, who would reach for a rope as soon as he heard the words "die of a shield," into not dying so soon.
After they negotiated, they settled on dying of illness. He would have to start pretending to be sick in advance.
Lin Ge counted down the days until three months had passed.
As the deadline drew closer, she noticed her husband's temper growing more and more volatile.
Lin Ge proceeded cautiously.
"All right, all right. A few days early won't matter. Tonight, then."
"Go ahead and die."
Her husband instantly crushed the teacup clutched in his hand.
Lin Ge turned around and gently brushed the dust from her hem.
Reader's Guide
1. This is a fictional setting, completely made up.
2. HE, one-on-one romance.
3. Contains original worldbuilding.
4. A marriage-before-love story.
5. A little slanted toward the "I really do love it" trope.
Theme: Drink in moderation
The male protagonist is so miserable. In fact, I don't understand why the female protagonist abandons him.
The male protagonist should run away. The female protagonist feels so inexplicable. There is no explanation at all. The happy time before seems like a dream.
Linge is quite interesting. She can't help but sneak around in the middle of the night when she holds her little hand. I don't believe she can honestly let go after three months.
It's over, Pingyang County, you are really a master of mine clearance!
The male protagonist is too cute!
Ah ah ah, we kissed, so sweet
When will we be together? The emotional line is so slow (crying)
Darling, why are you so easy to deceive?
Wow wow wow how could the heroine do this! Such a wonderful wife is at home and she goes to the Flower House!
