Hyakkimaru takes Dororo on an adventure through the world of One Piece, searching for the parts of his body he lost.
Hyakkimaru's growth follows a path from meeting basic physical needs and finding safety, affection, and respect, to ultimately achieving self-actualization.
- At first, he is a little adult who sees through the world without any senses.
- In the middle, his senses gradually return, and he experiences the world like a child discovering it for the first time.
- Later, after going through many trials, he once again sets out on the path to maturity.
(Adult -> child -> adult)
He becomes one of Luffy's crew, forms bonds with the crew, and witnesses Luffy become the King of the Pirates alongside them.
I want Hyakkimaru to learn that life can also be this joyful and carefree.
