Let Your Heart Wander

1

Years after graduation, Bai Lu and Sui Yi cross paths again while handling work.

Looking at this old classmate she hadn't seen in years, who was also her ex-boyfriend's buddy, Bai Lu hesitated before greeting him.

"Hey, long time no see."

But he didn't react at all.

She could only laugh awkwardly and add, "I'm your high school classmate. You... still remember me, right?"

2

Sui Yi never falls for anyone on a whim.

That year, a girl transferred into their class. Standing at the front of the room, she said, "Hello, everyone. I'm Bai Lu. Bai Lu, from the line 'the autumn frost chills the white dew beneath the green maples.'"

In that line of poetry, he heard both his name and hers.

His heart stirred ever so slightly.

3

Bai Lu thought Sui Yi didn't remember her.

But actually...

Sui Yi's heart had long since stirred for Bai Lu.

4

Sui Yi has two recurring dilemmas in life.

As a teenager:

#What do I do if I like my buddy's girlfriend? #

Years later, when he runs into her again through work:

#I slept with my buddy's ex-girlfriend, but she doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for me. What do I do? #

#There's no way I can beg her to do it again, unless I've gone crazy. #

#I've gone crazy. #

"He felt like a bad guy hiding in the shadows. He actually liked his buddy's girlfriend."

A story with a large ensemble cast: the male and female leads and the people around them, a group of young people just starting their careers, working hard and living life in all kinds of industries and situations, loving and hating with all their hearts, and ultimately changing and growing.
